Upgrades: |
Surveillance
technology has changed and dropped in price over the past
few years and upgrading your current system has never
been more affordable. If you are still using VHS and changing
tapes, an upgrade to a digital system will deliver far
better images and eliminate the need to change tapes…the
DVR will simply record back over the hard drive. If you
need to archive, simply burn a CD or DVD. In addition
to the VHS/DVR issue, cameras have come a long way and
their prices are at an all time low. Call us for some
prices. |

| Service |
 Just
as you would service any system, you should have your
surveillance system serviced. If you have an existing
system the DVR should be opened and cleaned and checked.
In addition, the settings on the DVR may need to be corrected
or changed. This should be checked frequently as seasons,
lighting, etc. may have changed and compromised your images.
Your cameras and connections also should
be cleaned and checked. The connections and lens may need
tightening or adjusted. So many times we see cameras with
dust and cob webs on the camera and bracket. This is not
only unsightly and effects your image quality but more
importantly it tells the “Badguy” that your
system is neglected and most often outdated and not monitored.
Ninety percent of the time we see this on cameras we see
an old system and that is hardly worth turning on.
In
many situations cameras are not positioned or angled properly.
Have a professional inspect and angle your cameras properly.
You can have the best system on the market but if your
cameras are not positioned and angled properly you are
not getting the image you need and you are not protected.
If you have a system, let us check it out at no obligation…if
you are getting a system, see that the company installing
will service it for you. Project an image of security
and let the bad guy’s go elsewhere. |
